Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has responded to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's criticism of Delhi's law and order situation, which included accusations of riots instigated by AAP with the help of Bangladeshi infiltrators. Kejriwal, addressing the issue, reminded Adityanath that law and order in Delhi comes under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, headed by Amit Shah. He further suggested that Adityanath guide Shah on improving the law and order situation, criticizing the Union Home Minister for being busy with political manoeuvres rather than addressing Delhi's law enforcement issues.

While agreeing with Adityanath's assessment of Delhi’s law and order, Kejriwal emphasized the worsening situation in the capital, stating that gangsters had taken over Delhi, contributing to the rise in violence and insecurity, particularly concerning women’s safety. Kejriwal also acknowledged the prevalence of gang violence, claiming, "11 gangsters have captured the entire Delhi."

Adityanath, addressing a rally in Janakpuri ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, had accused the AAP of instigating the 2020 riots and facilitating chaos in areas like Shaheen Bagh. He claimed that AAP's actions were in collaboration with "Bangladeshi infiltrators," and vowed that a BJP-led government would create a safer environment in Delhi.
