The largest office building of the world has been built in the gem capital of India, Surat of Gujarat. This building is packed with features that can make it look like a dream office for people from all over the world.

Surat Diamond Bourse’s Spectacular Office Building

The new office space of Surat Diamond Bourse in Surat has a breathtaking architecture with marvelous features designed by Morphogenesis based in New Delhi. The building spreads over an area of 35 acres of land with 15 storeys. It is a one-stop destination for the world’s finest 65,000 professionals in diamond. There are “4,700 office spaces and 131 elevators” inside the building.

Made on the budget of 32 million rupees, the floor space of the building is 7.1 million square feet making it clearly larger from the Pentagon which is the headquarters of the United States Department of Defence.

The Efforts behind The Project

It has taken 4 years for the building to be constructed. Now, it is all set to be inaugurated by the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Business will begin in the office space from November 2023.

The project CEO, Mr. Gadhavi said, “…some people have to spend up to four hours, daily, to come from their homes to their offices and back home again.”
