Yellow Alert Issued by IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has given a warning for some places in Maharashtra. They say there might be heavy rain in Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts for the next two days.

For Palghar district, the warning is for Saturday and Sunday, but on Saturday, there might be heavy rain in some areas of Palghar. On Sunday, Palghar district has a green alert, which means there might be some rain but not as heavy. In the other districts, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg, there is a yellow alert, indicating a chance of heavy rain in some places.

Yellow Alert for two days in several districts of Maharashtra.

For Mumbai, a green alert is in effect from September 9 to 12, suggesting light to moderate rainfall is expected.

Additionally, on September 11 and 12, IMD predicted moderate rain in Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts.
