Major Arms Trafficking Bust in MP: Three Arrested in Dhar

The police arrested three people who were part of a gang that they believe was involved in smuggling illegal weapons between different states in Dhar district. During their operation, the police found weapons and ammunition in an illegal weapon-making facility in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar.

Dhar Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh informed ANI that the Dhar police successfully dismantled a gang engaged in smuggling illegal arms across states. They arrested three members of this gang and confiscated 149 country-made pistols, 2 pistols, and 13 live cartridges, valued at Rs 36 lakh.

Additionally, he revealed that this gang operated a network spanning across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Haryana. The key suspect, identified as Ishwar, was wanted in 24 cases, and the police are now investigating the various locations where he may have distributed weapons. Further inquiries are ongoing.
