Mustafa Suleyman, a co-founder of Inflection AI, will now lead Microsoft's consumer AI division, the firm announced.

Sam Altman, an OpenAI employee, briefly accepted a position comparable to this one after losing his job as CEO of the Chat GPT Company. Mustafa Suleyman is a former Harvard Kennedy School senior fellow who is currently serving on the World Economic Forum steering committee for the AI Governance Alliance.

Mustafa Suleyman’s name is included in Time magazine's list of the 100 most important people in artificial intelligence.

He was born in London in 1984. His father was a cab driver from Syria. His mother was an English nurse. His dad's wife was an Englishwoman. A feature of his early years was his extreme modesty.

She left Oxford University to start a charity. The charity happened to offer telephone counselling. It became one of the largest programs in the UK. It was popular for Muslim mental health help. The fact that Mustafa Suleyman departed Oxford University before earning his degree makes him famous.

His next role at Google was vice president of AI products and policy

One of his greatest successes was overseeing the application of DeepMind's machine learning algorithms, which cut Google's data center energy consumption by 40%.

Alongside fellow LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, he co-founded Inflection AI in 2022. The company's successful fundraising efforts have raised its valuation to $4 billion. This project will help a number of people, including Microsoft, NVIDIA, Bill Gates, and Hoffman himself.
