Tennis:-

Novak Djokovic, the 23-time Grand Slam champion, made history again by winning the French Open 2023 and becoming the first player to secure all four major trophies at least three times.

In a straight-set victory over Casper Ruud in the clay-court final, Djokovic claimed his record-breaking 23rd Grand Slam title, further solidifying his dominance in the tennis world.

He has emerged victorious in six out of the last eight majors he has competed in.

Djokovic's triumph extends beyond just Grand Slam titles. In the race for the coveted Big Titles, which encompasses Grand Slam titles, Olympic singles gold medals, Nitto ATP Finals, and ATP Masters 1000 competitions, Djokovic has surged ahead of his main rivals, Rafael Nadal and the now-retired Roger Federer.

Another remarkable feat within Djokovic's reach is completing a Grand Slam by winning all four majors in a single season, a feat last achieved by Rod Laver in 1969. After triumphing in the first three major championships of the year, Djokovic is now halfway to this extraordinary accomplishment.

The French Open 2023 final at the Court Philippe-Chatrier witnessed Djokovic's relentless determination. Overcoming Ruud's strong start, Djokovic rallied back from a 1-4 deficit in the tie-break to claim the first set.

He then showcased his exceptional shot-making skills in the second and third sets, ultimately securing victory after three hours and thirteen minutes of intense competition.

Novak Djokovic's exceptional performance in the French Open 2023 solidifies his position as a tennis legend, if not settle the GOAT debate forever. It sets the stage for a potentially historic season as he pursues the elusive Grand Slam achievement.
