"He gave Pakistan a free media and he stressed on diversity of opinion in Pakistan," Chaudhry said in a video message. But it was not all gold for him. He is often blamed for the birth of a new militant group, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, which has killed tens of thousands of people since its inception.
