PM Modi Reached Indonesia for ASEAN Summits; Warm Welcome by Indian Diaspora

On Thursday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Indonesia for two important meetings, namely, 18th East Asia Summit and 20th ASEAN- Indian Summit. When he got to Jakarta International Airport, there was a special welcome for him. Minister I. Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati, who looks after the rights of women and children, greeted him warmly. The PM was welcomed by Indonesian cultural dance at the airport.
At the same time, Foreign Affairs Minister S Jaishankar reached the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Jakarta. He met with the Indian people living there.
On Thursday morning, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Jakarta, the Indian community there gave him a very warm welcome. The Indian community was very happy to see PM Modi. They were waiting at the hotel and cheered for him by saying things like "Modi, Modi," "Humara Neta Kaisa Ho, Narendra Modiji Jaisa Ho...", and "Har Har Modi, Har Ghar Modi."
As soon as he got there, PM Modi greeted the Indian people who had gathered at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Jakarta to welcome him. They were chanting things like 'Vande Mataram' and 'Modi Modi'. Many children were also part of the group.
Before going to Indonesia on Wednesday, Prime Minister Modi said he's excited to talk with other leaders about how they can work together to solve big problems in the world.
He also mentioned that being friends with the ASEAN group is a significant part of India's 'Act East Policy.' The Indonesian President, Joko Widodo, invited the Prime Minister to visit Jakarta.
