President Murmu Set for Three- day Odisha Visit from Tuesday

According to a statement from the President's Secretariat, President Droupadi Murmu is slated to embark on a three-day visit to Odisha on Tuesday. The statement, issued on Monday, mentioned that the visit is scheduled from July 25 to 27, 2023.

On Tuesday evening, President Murmu will engage in an interaction with a group of medical students sponsored by the 'Atut-Bandhan' family. Additionally, she will lay the foundation stone for a new building block of Raj Bhavan Odisha in Bhubaneswar, as per the statement.

On Wednesday, the President will deliver a speech at the valedictory function of the 75th year celebrations of the High Court of Orissa in Cuttack. Additionally, she will address the annual function of SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, and attend the convocation of National Law University Odisha, both on the same day.

On July 27, President Murmu will have an interaction with Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) at Raj Bhawan in Odisha.

On the same day, it also stated that she would inaugurate the theme of this year, 'The Year of Positive Change,' for Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya. Furthermore, she would lay the foundation stone for its 'Lighthouse Complex' at Dasabatia, Tamando, Bhubaneswar, and this would include the conducting of nationwide seminars and conferences.
