Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a significant journey to Gujarat, his home state, to partake in a blend of spiritual reverence and infrastructural advancement. Commencing his visit, he offered prayers at the revered Beyt Dwarka Temple. This spiritual gesture underscores the deep-rooted connection between faith and governance in India.

Following the religious rituals, Modi delved into inaugurating the Sudarshan Setu, a monumental infrastructure project that symbolizes progress and connectivity. The bridge, spanning 2.32 kilometers, seamlessly links the Okha mainland with the Beyt Dwarka island. Its unique design, adorned with verses from the Bhagavad Gita and images of Lord Krishna, reflects the rich cultural heritage of the region. Moreover, equipped with solar panels generating one megawatt of electricity, the bridge sets a precedent for sustainable infrastructure development.

The significance of the Sudarshan Setu extends beyond mere connectivity. Prior to its construction, pilgrims relied on boat transport to reach Beyt Dwarka. The inauguration of this bridge not only facilitates pilgrimage but also enhances local connectivity and promotes tourism in the region. It stands as a testament to the government's commitment to improving infrastructure and fostering economic growth.

In parallel, Modi's visit is marked by the inauguration and foundation laying of numerous development projects across various sectors. Strengthening tertiary healthcare, he inaugurated five All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rajkot, Bathinda, Raebareli, Kalyani, and Mangalagiri. These institutions represent a significant leap forward in healthcare accessibility and quality, catering to the diverse healthcare needs of the populace.

Furthermore, Modi's agenda includes the launch of 200 healthcare infrastructure projects across 23 states and Union territories. From medical colleges to naturopathy institutes, these initiatives aim to enhance the healthcare landscape of the nation, ensuring comprehensive healthcare coverage for all citizens.
