On Sunday, 24th July, 2023, Aaj News reported a situation reminiscent of the Seema Haider saga, wherein a married woman, Anju from New Delhi, India's national capital, traveled to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, to meet her lover.
Seema Haider met Sachin Meena over an online gaming platform PUBG. She along with her four kids had crossed over into India illegally to move in with her now partner, Sachin Meena.
However, in contrast to Haider's case, where she entered India without valid travel documents, Anju, on the other hand, was permitted entry into Pakistan through the proper channels with the issuance of a visa by the authorities.
It was reported that Anju (35) and Nasrullah (29) from Upper Dir became friends on Facebook and soon their friendship blossomed into love. Already married, the woman crossed over Pakistan legally to cross over into Pakistan and travel all along the rugged terrains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in pursuit of love.

Upper Dir SHO, Javed Khan, confirmed that Anju entered Pakistan legally and possessed a valid visa. Moreover, the SHO verified the woman's four-year relationship with Nasr. Anju's journey to Pakistan began from Wagah, and she subsequently traveled to Islamabad, as reported by Aaj News.
The television channel also announced that it had been confirmed by the Upper Dir Police that the Indian woman was presently located in the Malakand Division district. Furthermore, a security team had initiated an investigation into the matter.
Anju's visa information form indicated that she was granted a 30-day stay in Pakistan.
The channel also quoted Anju, who stated that she had met Nasrullah on Facebook four years ago, and the two had become friends. She also stated that she loves Nasr and "couldn't live without him".

Anju, a working woman from India, stated that her visit to Pakistan was for sightseeing and not for marriage, as claimed by Nasrullah's family members. Additionally, the report mentioned that local journalists were prohibited from meeting Anju on Sunday after the news of her journey to Pakistan became public. According to the report, they were informed that Anju and Nasrullah had departed for an outing.
In response to Seema Haider's unauthorized crossing into India, the Ministry of External Affairs stated that the matter was 'under investigation' and clarified that she had been presented before the court and granted bail.
The official spokesperson of the MEA, Arindam Bagchi, said at a press briefing on July 20 that they were aware of the matter. He mentioned that she had been presented before the court and was now out on bail.
