Uttar Pradesh Man Arrested for Assaulting and Killing Pregnant Goat

In a disturbing incident from Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, a man named Manu Sagar has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting and killing a pregnant goat. The incident took place in the Azad Nagar area, under the jurisdiction of the Kotwali police station. The goat's owner reported that the animal was raped before being strangled to death. Following the complaint, local authorities quickly registered a case against Sagar and apprehended him.

Sagar, an e-rickshaw driver with a history of criminal behavior, was reportedly under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident. He has faced prior accusations, including raping his mother and attempting to molest a female police officer, leading to a previous conviction and a sentence of one and a half years.

The goat, which was three months pregnant, has been sent for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death and to gather evidence for the ongoing investigation. The owner, Sher Singh, expressed his shock at the incident, stating, “We did not witness the event, but it is clear that something terrible has happened. Manu treated it cruelly.”
