Delhi murder:-

A shocking incident occurred in Delhi's Shahbad Dairy area, as 16-year-old Sakshi was brutally stabbed 21 times, leading to her tragic demise. In the FIR filed by her father, it was revealed that Sakshi often mentioned a person named Sahil to her family, but they always emphasised the importance of her education due to her young age.

According to the victim's father, whenever they tried to counsel Sakshi about focusing on her studies, she would get angry and seek solace at her friend Neetu's place. The father further stated in the FIR that Sakshi had an argument with Sahil the day before her murder.

The heinous crime saw Sakshi being stabbed more than 20 times, followed by a fatal blow with a cement slab, resulting in her instant death. Autopsy reports indicated that her body bore 34 injury marks, with her skull brutally smashed. The accused, identified as Sahil, was apprehended from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh just hours after committing the gruesome act, which was captured on CCTV footage.

On Wednesday, the Delhi Police reconstructed the crime scene in Shahbad Dairy to gain a better understanding of the sequence of events and how Sahil executed the crime. During the investigation, three of Sakshi's friends were called in for questioning, and their statements were recorded.

Notably, the accused has confessed to the police that he murdered Sakshi, as confirmed by police sources. When shown the CCTV footage, Sahil admitted, "I am the man in the video. I killed Sakshi." It was revealed that Sahil had planned Sakshi's murder two days prior, as she had rejected his advances in front of her friends and refused to reconcile with him. After the brutal act, Sahil spent some time at a nearby park before disposing of the knife in bushes near the Rithala metro station. He then boarded a bus from Anand Vihar ISBT to Bulandshahr.

This horrific incident has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the need for swift and stringent action to ensure justice for Sakshi and prevent such senseless acts of violence in the future.
