A dispute broke out between a motorbike rider and an auto-rickshaw passenger in Bengaluru over a cigarette.

The crux of the argument was cigarettes. X user Sheikh Moin claimed that when a three-wheeler went by his two-wheeler in JP Nagar's fifth phase, a cigarette-wielding passenger bumped up against his leg. The two got into a heated argument after the rider stopped the motorcycle to confront the passenger.

The passenger in the rented car, meantime, said the driver was attempting to bring attention to themselves by taking pictures of them and wanted the right to smoke inside. "You must be famous for me to film you," the rider said in jest in response to the question.

I saw that one of the passengers was smoking in public without holding the car properly when the driver passed me. His hand brushed my leg, and I felt it. "I was shoved aside when I was questioned, and it nearly sent me flying onto the sidewalk," Mr. Moin claimed on X, sharing two videos of his confrontation with the passenger.

The tapes also spurred more action from the Bengaluru City Police Department. The Bengaluru Police then asserted that they had gotten in touch with the appropriate authorities and requested Mr. Moin's contact details.

People have expressed a wide range of opinions in response to the video, which is divisive on the internet. While some believed that smokers should never again smoke in public areas, others said that the rider was exaggerating over a minor issue.

Biker ought to mind his own business...why he is arguing with passenger. If the rider is sincere about it, the commentator says, he should be able to pay the cost. Another person brought up the fact that they are utilizing their wearing helmet cameras while riding their bikes as a publicity stunt. Regretfully, they were unable to locate someone with whom to record a dispute. As a result, they arrested a poor rickshaw driver and one of his smoking passengers. They have also said quite clearly that they own every single police number.
