Jet Airways’ CEO Sanjiv Kapoor :- has attracted the attention of netizens for appreciating Dubai's infrastructure and considering Indian metro stations as ‘artless concrete’. In a tweet, Kapoor criticized the Poor quality design of several metro stations, particularly those in Gurugram and Bengaluru. His tweet annoyed some people, as they responded with beautiful images of metro stations across the country.

“Why are our above-ground and overhead metro stations in Bangalore, Gurgaon, and Kolkata boring and artless concrete eyesores? Look at Bangalore metro station (left) and Dubai metro station (right) side by side. And this station in Dubai was most likely constructed ten years ago”, Kapoor tweeted while sharing an image of two different stations.

“Aesthetics don't cost heavily. Even the simplest Japanese apartments are stylish, affordable, and aesthetically beautiful. These comments on the post below are simply the justifications and excuses for putting up with mediocrity”, he retweeted and further added.

After the tweet went viral, some users hit Jet Airways’ CEO Sanjiv Kapoor  for failing to recognize the nation's infrastructure advancements, while others agreed and said that the country's metro lacked an inclusive and environmentally friendly design.

A Twitter user responded to Kapoor's remark by writing, “Aesthetics are completely based on personal taste. You're trying to find a glass building like in Dubai. Bangalore residents are quite satisfied with their stations. You may travel anywhere and use the metro where you like”.

“Very rightly said. Our public infrastructure is not attractive, affordable, or environmentally sustainable and lots of it is also inaccessible. Aesthetics are now given the utmost emphasis in private construction, which is also completely messed up”, another user tweeted in support of Jet Airways’ CEO Sanjiv Kapoor

However, the majority of Twitter users disagreed with him and responded by Providing images of Hyderabad, Delhi, and Bengaluru's aesthetically designed metro stations
