In a shocking turn of events, Mumbai Police have arrested four individuals involved in the murder of former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique. Two of the accused, Gurmail Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap, reportedly learned how to shoot by watching YouTube tutorials, according to a report by ANI. However, three other suspects are still at large, and police have formed multiple teams to track them down.

The murder occurred when Baba Siddique, aged 66, was shot dead outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in the Nirmal Nagar area of Mumbai on Saturday night. The shooters had conducted surveillance on Siddique's home and office for 25 days before executing the crime. They were reportedly given Siddique's photograph to ensure they correctly identified him.

Police investigations have revealed that the fourth arrested suspect, Harishkumar Balakram, provided financial support and coordinated logistics for the murder. Balakram, who worked as a scrap dealer in Pune, was apprehended from Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. Two of the absconding suspects used to work at Balakram’s scrap shop.

The crime branch has recovered a 7.62 mm gun linked to the case, found in a black bag, and has recorded statements from over 15 witnesses, including many present at the scene of the crime. The assailants have also claimed ties to the notorious Bishnoi gang, whose leader, Lawrence Bishnoi, is currently imprisoned in Gujarat.

The murder has sparked concerns about the expanding influence of the Bishnoi gang, as they continue to orchestrate high-profile crimes despite their leaders being incarcerated.
