Tej Pratap Yadav claims Bihar bridge has been demolished by BJP

Aguwani-Sultanganj bridge:-

In a shocking turn of events, the Aguwani-Sultanganj bridge in Bhagalpur, Bihar collapsed on Sunday, leaving locals and authorities stunned. The bridge, which connected two crucial parts of the region, had recently undergone repairs and was expected to serve as a vital lifeline for transportation and economic activities.

However, the incident has sparked a political controversy, with Bihar Minister Tej Pratap Yadav blaming the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the bridge's collapse.

Minister Yadav, a prominent member of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), held a press conference shortly after the incident and accused the BJP of deliberately demolishing the bridge. He stated, "The bridge has been demolished by BJP. We are building the bridge, and they are demolishing it. This is a conspiracy against the development of Bihar and its people."

The Aguwani-Sultanganj bridge was constructed over the Ganges River and had been a crucial link between Bhagalpur and the adjoining districts. The collapse of the bridge has disrupted transportation and caused inconvenience to commuters and locals who heavily relied on it for their daily commute and trade activities.

Preliminary investigations into the incident indicate structural failures as the cause of the collapse. However, Minister Yadav firmly believes that this was an act of sabotage, pointing fingers at the ruling BJP.

He alleges that the bridge was targeted to hinder the progress and development initiatives undertaken by the opposition-led government in Bihar.

The BJP has strongly refuted these allegations, calling them baseless and politically motivated. Party spokesperson Rajesh Jha stated, "The collapse of the Aguwani-Sultanganj bridge is an unfortunate incident, but it is wrong to blame any political party without concrete evidence. Such accusations are purely driven by political motives and aim to mislead the public."

Local authorities have initiated a thorough investigation to determine the actual cause of the collapse. Engineers, forensic experts, and other relevant professionals have been deployed to assess the structural integrity of the bridge and ascertain if any foul play was involved.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to restore normalcy and bridge the transportation gap caused by the bridge's collapse. Temporary measures have been put in place, including the deployment of ferries and alternative routes, to facilitate the movement of people and goods.

As the investigation progresses, the political blame game surrounding the collapse of the Aguwani-Sultanganj bridge continues. The people of Bihar are hoping for a swift resolution and the rebuilding of the bridge to resume their regular activities uninterrupted.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of infrastructure development and the need for unbiased investigations to ensure accountability and the Safety of critical structures that impact the lives of millions of people.
