BJP mocked AAP after exit polls predicted a victory for the party, claiming that Delhi voters seek a corruption-free government. BJP leaders expressed confidence in crossing the 50-seat mark, while AAP rejected the predictions, asserting that Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership would lead to their victory.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has ridiculed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) following exit poll predictions that indicated a clear victory for the BJP in the Delhi Assembly election. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva took to mocking AAP, stating that the people of Delhi have decisively chosen a corruption-free government and development, further claiming that AAP’s time in power was coming to an end.
Sachdeva expressed his belief that Delhi voters are looking for change, with the BJP emerging as the preferred choice. He also warned that any attempts at fraudulent voting would be caught. Echoing this sentiment, BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri attributed the expected electoral success to the so-called "Modi wave," pointing to the nationwide development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a significant factor behind Delhi’s shift in favour of BJP. Bidhuri expressed optimism that the BJP’s seat count would exceed expectations, predicting that the party would secure over 50 seats.
BJP’s Parvesh Verma echoed the sentiments, saying that the "Lotus" would bloom on February 8, signifying BJP’s victory. He also assured the people of Delhi that they would deliver on promises like clean Yamuna, employment, and good governance.

AAP leader Sushil Gupta expressed confidence that the final results would be in their favour, asserting that Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership would continue to serve the people of Delhi.
