Prominent Bollywood personalities, including Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Remo D'Souza, and Sugandha Mishra, have reportedly received death threats from a sender traced to Pakistan. The threatening email, signed under the pseudonym “Bishnu,” urged recipients to treat the matter with “utmost seriousness and confidentiality.”

Rajpal Yadav's wife, Radha Yadav, filed an FIR at the Amboli Police Station, triggering an investigation under Section 351(3) of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita. The threat claims Kapil Sharma and his team were targeted due to sponsorship links with Salman Khan. Mumbai Police has traced the email's IP address to Pakistan and is seeking assistance from the government to correspond with Pakistani authorities.

Kapil Sharma, celebrated for his humour and hit television shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil and Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show, remains a beloved figure in Indian entertainment. Similarly, Rajpal Yadav, known for his comedic versatility, recently appeared in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, alongside Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan.

Security measures have been ramped up for the celebrities and their teams. The authorities have issued a stern warning to the sender, demanding a reply within eight hours to avoid legal and personal consequences.
