The recent United Religion Initiative (URI) North India Assembly brought together interfaith grassroots organizations in New Delhi. This significant event showcased URI's commitment to fostering interfaith cooperation and addressing social issues.

The recent United Religion Initiative (URI) North India Assembly brought together interfaith grassroots organizations in New Delhi. This significant event showcased URI's commitment to fostering interfaith cooperation and addressing social issues.

Held at the tranquil Zorba the Buddha venue, it united over 35 URI Cooperation Circles, members, and youth, facilitating dialogue, networking, and discussions.

URI, a global interfaith network, strives to end religiously motivated violence and create a culture of peace and justice. The North India Assembly served as a testament to their grassroots efforts in North India, bridging diverse faiths.

Highlighting the event was Bhavya Srivastava, Asia Director of URI, renowned for interfaith dialogue and cooperation. His presence inspired attendees to prioritize grassroots initiatives in addressing pressing social issues.

Global Advisor Sheetal Vaidya, also present, emphasized the significance of local initiatives in the context of global interfaith cooperation, contributing to URI's mission on a larger scale.

Participants, hailing from diverse backgrounds and faiths, used the platform to discuss experiences and challenges. Topics included environmental sustainability, education, healthcare, and community development, demonstrating how interfaith cooperation can address these concerns effectively.
