Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi Alleges RSS

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday claimed that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was placing its own people in every institution of the country.

"The RSS is strategically placing its own members in every institution, effectively controlling the machinery of governance,"  he said this while addressing a gathering in Ladakh.

Rahul Gandhi asserted that the RSS is embedding its own personnel in all the institutions of the country.
Congress spokesperson Rahul Gandhi asserted on Friday that the RSS is embedding its own personnel in all the institutions of the country.

He also pointed out that even Union government ministers admitted that their ministries were largely under the influence of individuals appointed by the RSS, raising questions about the extent of this influence on policy decisions.

Gandhi's assertion has renewed the ongoing debate surrounding the RSS's role in shaping India's political and administrative landscape. He argued that the BJP and RSS were strategically positioning their loyalists in key positions within the country's institutional framework, potentially impacting the governance and decision-making processes.

During a separate interaction with the youth in Leh, Gandhi emphasised the pivotal role of India's constitution in upholding freedom. He stated, "The consolidation of freedom in India is intricately linked to our constitution, which serves as a comprehensive set of rules." He stressed the importance of translating the principles of the Constitution into action by establishing institutions that uphold its values.

Apart from these political discussions, Rahul Gandhi was seen enjoying a football match in Leh, displaying a more relaxed side during his Ladakh visit. Nevertheless, his allegations regarding the RSS's influence are poised to reignite conversations about the organisation's role in shaping India's governance and institutions.
