In the wake of recent alarming incidents, Delhi's law and order situation has come under scrutiny, with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal demanding action and heightened security measures. The city's crime scenario has raised concerns among citizens and political leaders alike.

One incident that shocked Delhi residents involved a delivery agent and his associate falling victim to an armed robbery in the busy Pragati Maidan tunnel. The CCTV footage captured four armed men intercepting a car and robbing its occupants at gunpoint. Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal took to Twitter, criticizing Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena and the Central government while demanding the resignation of the LG. Kejriwal emphasized the urgent need for safety and security for the people of Delhi, calling on the Central government to address the issue or hand over responsibility to the state government.

Echoing these concerns, Congress leader Pramod Tiwari called Delhi the 'crime capital of India' and called for immediate steps to improve the law-and-order situation. With the crime rate escalating, it has become imperative for the Central government to take decisive action and ensure the safety of its citizens.

In a separate incident, a businessman residing in Delhi's Paschim Vihar area received a ransom demand of Rs 5 crore from individuals claiming to be notorious gangsters Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi. Fearing for his safety, the businessman complained to the police, prompting an investigation.

The Delhi Police has initiated a probe into both cases and have registered FIRs based on the victims' complaints. In the robbery incident, the police are examining CCTV footage and exploring the possibility of an inside job. They are also investigating whether the criminals had been tracking the victims before the incident. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to trace the individuals behind the ransom demand and determine their true identities.
