Shafi Uzzama, a 32-year-old engineer residing in Delhi, managed a daring escape from the custody of Pune police, setting off an extensive manhunt that spanned across multiple states. His capture marks a critical milestone in the pursuit of justice.

Additionally, Delhi Police Special Cell authorities have taken into custody several individuals who may have ties to this case. However, specific details about these detainees and their potential involvement in terrorist activities have not yet been disclosed. Authorities have assured the public that a thorough investigation is currently in progress.

The recent arrest of Shafi Uzzama underscores the relentless efforts of the NIA to track down individuals associated with the Pune ISIS module case. Earlier, the NIA had circulated images of four terrorism suspects connected to this case, offering a substantial reward of ₹3 lakh for credible information leading to their arrest.

Shafi Uzzama, along with his associates Talha Liyakat Khan, Rizwan Abdul Haji Ali, and Abdulla Faiyaz Shaikh, who also goes by the alias Daiper wala, had been subjects of an extensive nationwide manhunt.
