In a major operation, Delhi Police seized over 560 kg of cocaine worth ₹2,000 crore in South Delhi. The drugs are linked to an international syndicate run by Afghan nationals. Four individuals were arrested, and further investigations are underway.
Delhi Police made a massive drug bust, seizing over 560 kg of cocaine valued at nearly ₹2,000 crore, marking the city's largest-ever drug haul. The drugs were recovered in South Delhi, and four individuals were arrested in connection with the case. Authorities believe this is part of an international syndicate, primarily operated by Afghan nationals.
The recent bust follows the arrest of two Afghan nationals days earlier, caught in possession of heroin and cocaine during a raid in Tilak Nagar. The suspects, Hashimi Mohammad Waris and Abdul Nayib, were found to be operating the drug trade under refugee status, collecting and distributing consignments in Delhi for $100 per delivery. The ongoing investigation points to a larger, well-organized network.
