Telugu sensation Vijay Deverakonda and Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan, whose upcoming movies "Kushi" and "King of Kotha" are set to hit theaters within a week of each other, engaged in a heartwarming conversation. King of Kotha" stands as a period gangster movie, with Dulquer portraying a beloved champion of the people. Meanwhile, Vijay's "Kushi" takes the romantic route, showcasing his chemistry with Samantha Ruth Prabhu's character. This film marks Vijay's comeback after the underwhelming response to his inaugural pan-India action venture, "Liger".

During their conversation, featured on Sony Music South's YouTube channel, Vijay expressed, "When it comes to a multi-starrer, I'd absolutely want to collaborate with Dulquer." Harkening back to his acting beginnings with the 2011 movie "Nuvvila," Vijay fondly reminisced about enjoying Dulquer's films via torrents. He shared, "Even prior to becoming an actor, I was already watching his movies. I'd catch them on my laptop through torrents. Given that they were Malayalam films, subtitles were a must."
