The BTS fandom, known as the Army, is experiencing a whirlwind of emotions as multiple significant events unfold simultaneously. These include Suga's announcement of his military enlistment following his final concert, the complete reunion of all members at the concert, the long-anticipated revelation of Suga's "Seven" tattoo, and the release of V's solo album.
One day after wrapping up his D-Day concert, BTS member Suga revealed his decision to enlist in the South Korean Army. The announcement came via BTS agency BigHit Music on the Weverse social media platform on Monday, August 7th. The agency stated that Suga had submitted a request to end his enlistment postponement and would be entering the South Korean Army. Specific dates for his enlistment will be disclosed in the near future. Currently, BTS members Jin and J-Hope are serving in the South Korean military.
During his D-Day concert on Sunday, Suga was observed shedding tears while delivering his performance. Subsequently, he conducted a live session on Weverse where he bid farewell to the armys by saying,"If I say 'soon', that feels like a lie. So let’s see each other again in 2025. All right? Please wait a bit. 2025, let’s see each other then. You did great. Bye!". He also mentioned that "Snooze" brought forth emotions, with members and sunbaenims there, as a decade transitioned from dreams to being a sunbae leading to tears.
Suga's Agust D D-DAY tour at KSPO Dome thrilled fans live and online. Jungkook and Jimin joined him for special performances. They performed Burn it and Tony Montana respectively with Suga along with their solos. While Jin, J-Hope, and V surprised fans in the audience. A touching highlight was RM's duet with Suga on "STRANGE," and RM announced an unreleased song. They stayed to enjoy the show together, completing a special moment for BTS and ARMYs.
During the concluding performance of his D-Day concert in Seoul on Sunday, BTS' Suga unveiled his anticipated "7" tattoo. The 30-year-old rapper, while on stage on August 6, surprised fans by revealing the tattoo on his left arm. Subsequently, in a live session after the concert, he showcased the specific location of the friendship tattoo on his left arm. This revelation ignited excitement among fans.
Today, BigHit Music took to the Weverse platform and announced the most anticipated release of V's solo album "Layover". The album is scheduled to be released at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 8, 2023 (KST). The music videos for all five tracks will also be revealed. The tracks are as follows- Rainy Days, Blue, Love Me Again, Slow Dancing, For Us, Slow Dancing (Piano Ver.)
