a significant development, Iran has executed an alleged spy affiliated with
Israel's Mossad agency for purportedly divulging classified information,

took place in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchistan province,
underscoring the gravity of the charges against the unidentified individual
linked to foreign intelligence services.
Over the years, Iran and Israel, bitter adversaries, have engaged in accusations of espionage and clandestine warfare. Israel perceives Iran as its primary threat, repeatedly expressing its readiness to take military action to thwart Iran's nuclear ambitions.
