Ranaut has continuously expressed her support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram following the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) fifth list announcement to declare her steadfast support for the party and its candidate, BhartiyaJanta. I have been selected by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national leadership to represent them in the LokSabha from the Mandi constituency in my home state of Himachal Pradesh. I wholeheartedly endorse the high leadership's decision to let me run in the LokSabha elections. I've been feeling a mixture of honor and sheer happiness ever since I was given an official invitation to the event. One day, I want to contribute to the public good as a karyakarta who is dependable and well-respected. I'm grateful.
