Locals Protest After Rajasthan Girl Made To Drink Urine-Laced Water at School

People staged a protest after a girl student mistakenly consumed water mixed with urine from her bottle during lunch break at a Government Senior Higher Secondary School in Rajasthan's Bhilwara district.  

The girl also found a love letter inside her bag, causing immense distress.

The people also tried to confront the accused in their neighborhood, but were met with police resistance through a lathi charge.

A senior police official revealed that the student had complained about the incident last Friday, reporting that some boys had mixed urine into the water bottle she kept in her bag. After drinking from the tainted bottle, she noticed the foul odour and immediately reported the matter.

Surprisingly, despite the complaint, the school principal took no action, leading to further frustration among the community. When the school reopened on Monday, the issue was raised with the Tehsildar, the in-charge of the Luhariya Police Station, and the school principal, but no effective action was taken.

The locals took matters into their own hands and entered the accused's locality, resorting to stone-pelting in protest.

ASP Ghanashyam Sharma clarified that the student has not officially filed a complaint with the police yet. However, he assured that if a complaint is lodged against the individuals involved in the stone-pelting, the police will take appropriate action.
