Mandy Moore and her family narrowly escaped Los Angeles wildfires, losing their home and neighborhood in the process. In an emotional post, Moore expressed shock over the destruction, highlighting the loss of her children's school and community. Several celebrities have also been affected by the devastating fires.

Actor Mandy Moore and her family have shared their emotional experience of narrowly escaping the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. The fire, which has ravaged several neighborhoods, including Altadena near Pasadena, has destroyed homes and left many in the community devastated. Moore, who lost her home, expressed her shock and grief over the destruction, which also included the burning of her children’s school and favorite restaurants.

In a heartfelt post on social media, Moore thanked her family and friends for their support, including those who sheltered her family with clothes and blankets. "Honestly, I’m in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family," Moore wrote, reflecting on the profound loss felt by her community. "Our community is broken but we will be here to rebuild together," she added, sending love to others affected by the fires.

The wildfires have impacted several high-profile individuals, with Moore joining the list of celebrities who have lost their homes. Among others affected are Mark Hamill, James Woods, Paris Hilton, and Adam Brody. Some celebrities, like Ben Affleck, have evacuated their properties, with Affleck seeking shelter at his ex-wife Jennifer Garner's home.

Moore also shared her uncertainty about the fate of her home, stating, "So gutted for the destruction and loss. Don’t know if our place made it."

Moore, who rose to fame in the early 2000s for her acting roles, including in A Walk to Remember and voicing Rapunzel in Tangled, has been married to musician Taylor Goldsmith since 2018. The couple has three children together.
