Renowned for his compelling portrayal of Chanakya, Manish Wadhwa is poised to take on the role of an antagonist in Sunny Deol's forthcoming venture, Gadar 2. Exuding confidence, he anticipates a dichotomy of adoration for the film and disdain for his character from viewers. In an exclusive interaction with indianexpress.com, Manish humorously remarked, "In times gone by, the screen might have witnessed a shower of slippers."


Fate played its hand in Manish Wadhwa securing the role, a tale he shared with candor. During a conversation with action director Ravi Verma, who had previously collaborated with Manish on a south Indian film, the subject of finding a villain for Gadar 2 arose in the presence of director Anil Sharma. Ravi, remembering his past work with Manish, promptly showcased his acting clips, paving the way for a pivotal meeting.
