Nine New Governors of Different States US Appointed by President Droupadi Murmu

President Droupadi Murmu appoints new governors in nine states, including Rajasthan, Telangana, and Maharashtra, and a new Lieutenant Governor for Puducherry, marking a significant reshuffle in India's gubernatorial landscape.
Presidents Droupadi Murmu has made major changes in the governors list in nine states and one Lieutenant Governor in Puducherry. This announcement is a big shift in gubernatorial politics in not only the states in the region but across the entire country.
Mr Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, the former Maharashtra Assembly Speaker has been given the Governorship of Rajasthan. Jishnu Dev Varma, who recently left the post of the Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura, will now be appointed as the Governor of Telangana.
The President of India has also selected former Rajya Sabha MP Om Prakash Mathur for the position of Governor of Sikkim. Further, the new Governor of Jharkhand is Santosh Kumar Gangwar who is a former Union Minister. Ramen Deka a former member of the parliament of India Lok Sabah for Assam has been appointed as governor of Chhattisgarh.
He also stated that former Karnataka Minister CH Vijayashankar will take up the Governor of Meghalaya. CP Radhakrishnan, who serves as the Governor of Jharkhand, has been transferred to the Maharashtra state as the Governor of Maharashtra.
As for others, Governor of Assam, Gulab Chand Kataria has been selected as the Governor of Punjab and the UT Administrator of Chandigarh. The Sikkim Governor, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, will succeed in the Governor of State of Assam and also as the Governor of Manipur State.
K Kailashnathan, a former IAS officer, is the final addition to the list of newly appointed governors with the state of Puducherry granting him the title of the Lieutenant Governor.
This reshuffle is a manifestation of the President’s executive choices, to appoint experienced and diverse leadership to these important positions with an agenda of enhancing governance and development in the said areas.
