North Korea:-

Unpredictability and North Korea, owing to its leader Kim Jong Un, go hand in hand. You can never predict what this man is up to; the only thing that you can be assured of is his growing powers and increasing tensions between the two "Korean neighborhoods!"

According to reports from KCNA, North Korea carried out a series of drills to counter nuclear attacks from its enemies. The event has sent a wave of "warning and preparedness" to the West and its neighbors.

The drills in North Korea involving short-range missile launches were held on Saturday and Sunday. According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the training aimed to improve North Korea's "war deterrence and nuclear counterattack capability."

The news portal, which puts forward the views of the Korean government, also accused the USA and South Korea of trying to invade the country, and the drills were a part of the retort against these countries capable of Nuclear attack.

Kim Jong Un, who was present during the exercise, said, "The present situation, in which the enemies are getting ever more pronounced in their moves for aggression against the DPRK, urgently requires the DPRK to bolster up its nuclear war deterrence exponentially."

Interestingly, Kim addresses his country as "DPRK," or the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, a stark contrast from the actual reality, which also adds to the list of his unpredictability!

He also warned the enemies that such missions to thwart any possible nuclear attack on the country would happen without "hesitation" while adding that North Korea's nuclear forces are ready to "deter, control and manage the enemy's reckless moves and provocations."

It is also notable that the tests involved using a KN-23 short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) with a "buried silo," which is an improvement to the otherwise used weapons and methods. The drill could also pave the way for the future with the launch of larger missiles with stability and precision.

North Korea's test of its own nuclear weapons or the drills to counter nuclear attacks from foreign lands often leaves experts and governments worldwide scratching their heads. The interesting part of the event is the Fact that North Korea is banned from testing "ballistic missiles," and it seems likely that the UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting over the same!
