Rahul Gandhi's disqualification has had a great impact on the political lane of the country. The decision is criticized by many and supported by many. But the incident brought Many of the opposition parties together the protest against the decision.
Many of the significant politicians including Kharge, TR Baalu from DMK, and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury from Congress, were seen in black clothes and stood in support of Rahul Gandhi.
The main agenda of this march is to show their protest against the decision of Rahul Gandhi's disqualification and demand a JPC probe against the reported Adani Scandal.
In the morning, opposition parties who are against the decision and have similar views gathered in the office of the Rajya Sabha Leader of the Opposition, Mallikarjun Kharge. Notably, the Trinamool Congress, which previously did not participate in Congress-led floor management sessions, was present. Other parties in attendance included DMK, RJD, NCP, Samajwadi Party, JD(U), CPM, CPI, BRS, IUML, MDMK, Kerala Congress, RSP, AAP, NC, and Shiv Sena (UBT).
Opposition parties organized a demonstration at the Gandhi statue located in the Parliament complex. Sonia Gandhi, a Congress member, also participated in the protest. Subsequently, the opposition leaders marched towards Vijay Chowk while carrying placards that displayed slogans such as "save democracy" and "wake up ED". During the march, the leaders followed a large banner with the words "Satyamev Jayate" written on it.
