PM Modi Announces India's 6G Preparation After 5G Rollout

India's 6G Preparation


Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 15 announced that India, after swiftly rolling out 5G technology across more than 700 districts, is now preparing for the advent of 6G. 


He highlighted the formation of a task force to oversee the transition. 


Speaking from the Red Fort, PM Modi emphasized the global influence of technology and the interest of developed nations in learning from India's Digital India success story.


6G Preparation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reveals India's readiness for 6G technology following the nationwide 5G implementation.

Modi mentioned plans to implement technology in agriculture and unveiled a new plan to educate thousands of women in self-help groups on how to use technology, including drones, in agriculture. The agricultural sector will benefit, and so will rural women, thanks to this effort.


The Prime Minister of India made the point that India's startup ecosystem is third best in the world, a testament to the country's potential and prowess and the abilities of its young people. Additionally, PM Modi stated that technological resources are being utilized to combat corruption.


Prime Minister Modi highlighted the dramatic increase in internet availability, noting that even isolated communities now have access to the web. 


India's 6G Preparation
