In the wake of a deadly terrorist assault in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has issued a strong declaration condemning the violence and calling for government accountability. The attack, which took place on Monday, resulted in the deaths of 4 Indian infantrymen, including an officer.

Gandhi expressed his condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers and voiced difficulty over the increasing frequency of such assaults inside the region. He criticized the BJP authorities's regulations in Jammu and Kashmir, suggesting they have contributed to the deteriorating security scenario.

The Congress chief emphasised the want for national team spirit inside the face of terrorism at the same time as simultaneously worrying that the authorities take obligation for what he termed "repeated protection lapses." Gandhi referred to as for strict motion in opposition to the perpetrators of the attack.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reportedly spoke with Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi to evaluate the continuing operation in Doda. This incident follows a comparable attack in Kathua closing week, in which five soldiers had been killed, indicating a traumatic trend of spreading violence throughout the Jammu region.

The current assaults assessment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's current announcement in Parliament claiming that the fight in opposition to terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir is in its very last ranges. The authorities's multi-pronged method to take away terrorist networks in the area is now facing renewed scrutiny in light of these occasions.
