Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut accused the Election Commission and Supreme Court of favoring the BJP, calling them biased. He also criticized BJP’s use of investigative agencies to target political opponents, while urging Congress to expedite seat-sharing decisions for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has accused both the Election Commission (EC) and the Supreme Court of favoring the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Speaking to the media, Raut claimed that recent decisions by these institutions appear to support the BJP-led Maharashtra government, specifically favoring Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his faction. He labeled the EC and the Supreme Court as "BJP’s B, C, and D teams," implying their lack of neutrality in crucial decisions affecting opposition parties.
Raut also criticized the BJP’s use of central investigative agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to target political rivals. He compared this alleged tactic to a "political encounter" intended to weaken the opposition, particularly the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance comprising Shiv Sena (UBT), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), and Congress. He further likened BJP’s actions to those of the infamous Bishnoi gang, stating that though BJP lacks weapons, they utilize state agencies to suppress dissent.
Congress leader Atul Londhe Patil echoed Raut’s sentiments, accusing the BJP of undermining constitutional principles by using enforcement agencies to control political outcomes.
