Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has responded to a court-ordered Lokayukta investigation into his alleged involvement in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land allotment scam. A Bengaluru special court directed the Mysuru Lokayukta to investigate the accusations of illegal land allotment to Siddaramaiah’s wife, Parvathi.

Siddaramaiah addressed the issue on X, stating that he was not afraid of the investigation and is ready to face any legal battle. He affirmed that he would consult legal experts before deciding his next steps. The case revolves around allegations that Parvathi was illegally allotted 14 sites worth ₹56 crore by MUDA under a 50:50 ratio scheme in exchange for 3.16 acres of her land, where a residential layout was developed.

The Karnataka High Court had earlier granted Siddaramaiah temporary relief, halting the investigation. However, the special court has now ordered the Lokayukta to proceed with the probe, instructing the police to file an FIR and submit their findings within three months.
