In a significant development, US Congressmen Pete Sessions and Elise Stefanik unveiled the formation of the Congressional Hindu Caucus. This caucus, dedicated to protecting the interests of Hindu-Americans, especially the Pakistani Hindu minority, emphasizes their representation in the US Congress. Sessions highlighted the significance of this milestone, emphasizing the caucus's commitment to recognizing and amplifying the Hindu-American community's voice in the nation's capital. Their aim is to address concerns, celebrate contributions, and ensure perspectives are heard at the highest government levels.

Chairing the Congressional Hindu Caucus, Sessions and Stefanik focus on representing values crucial to the Hindu-American community, fostering a diverse coalition from countries like India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
