 Karnataka Polls 2023:-

Karnataka has seen a few hiccups lately, with the resignation of the 4-time Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and the replacement in the form of Basavaraj Bommai in 2021. Although the ship has far been steadied by BJP and the incumbent CM, upcoming polls will be a source of concern for everyone.

With the Karnataka poll at the back of everyone's mind, PM Modi will be visiting the state today to facilitate the inauguration of a number of projects.

The Prime Minister of India will set in motion a 13.71 km metro track from the Whitefield Metro Line to Krishnarajapura Metro Station. Notably, it is an extension project under "Bangalore Metro Phase 2."

PM Modi will be inaugurating the metro stretch at the Whitefield Metro Station in Bengaluru.

With a cost estimated at around Rs 4,250 crore, the construction of the metro track from the Whitefield Metro Line will provide an easy, safe, and viable option for passengers while also addressing the burning topic in the state: The never-ending Traffic in the city!

That's not all, as the visit by the Prime Minister of India will also oversee the inauguration of the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research at Chikkaballapur.

With a vision to provide free healthcare services and education, the Medical Institute is gearing up to get off the ground in the academic year 2023.

The move, however, didn't go well with the opposition as they questioned PM Modi and the BJP government on taking up the inauguration projects right before the elections in the state.

Keeping aside the political gains for a minute, the inauguration of the Metro lines and the Medical College will significantly boost the standards of living in Karnataka and result in the overall development of the state.
