He claims that a fast SUV and a scooter were engaged in an accident that occurred on the Virud hunagar–Madurai highway in Sivarakottai, near Tirumangalam.

According to footage obtained by ANI, the incident occurred at Sivarakottai where an SUV crashed into a two-wheeler, carried it over the road barrier, and then impacted another two-wheeler on the four-lane highway.

The vehicle's driver allegedly tried to bypass the fruit vendor on a two-wheeler as he drove towards Thalavaipuram. The impact of the sudden braking knocked off a fruit vendor, sent the car flying into a median, and threw the driver into the adjacent lane, according to the police.

Kanakavel (age 62), Krishnakumari (age 58), Nagajyoti (age 28), and their 8-year-old grandson were among the passengers in the car. They were all gone in an instant. In addition, the fruit vendor—later identified as Pandi, 55—also passed away from his wounds, according to the authorities.
