The police summoned Arjun after his release on bail, questioning him for over two hours at the Chikkadpally police station. Investigators focused on his alleged role in causing the chaos outside the Sandhya Theatre, where the screening took place. The police asked Arjun if he was aware that the authorities had denied permission for him to appear outside the theatre. They also inquired about the individual who made the decision to proceed with his appearance despite the police’s objections. Additionally, they questioned him on when he learned about the woman’s death in the stampede and if the theatre management had advised against his public appearance.
In a critical line of questioning, the police also asked Arjun how many bouncers he had arranged for the event, considering the size of the crowd. Despite these inquiries, Arjun denied any direct involvement in the incident and stated that he had no intention of causing harm.
