The reason behind heart attacks during Gymming

Nowadays, young people work out without prior heart check-ups. Without proper cardiac check-ups, they start gymming and start lifting weights, which thickens their heart and also they do treadmills, and cross trainers. Some people even consume supplements that harm their hearts and cause arrhythmia. Due to elevated cholesterol or other genetic factors, people start to gradually develop minor blockages in their twenties. However, when the

person experiences a highly stressful event, engages in strenuous physical activity without adequate training, or experiences severe biological stressors like an infection, the exertion on the heart causes
clots to form close to the blockages that are already present, which can result in clots and even a heart attack.

Reports disclose that he died due to a heart attack and he was merely 40. The unfortunate incident has surprised both devoted fans and members of the film industry. While some express their sorrow over the actor's passing, others reflect on the brevity of life and express concern over the rising number of heart attacks among younger people.

Heart attack, cardiac arrest, and other cardiovascular diseases have remained a major global health concern, but it has only recently become more common to diagnose and report cardiovascular issues in the younger population. Although doctors and other medical professionals haven't yet come up with a definitive explanation for these incidents, they have identified a few potential contributing factors.

Rohit Sardana

Television journalist Rohit Sardana died due to cardiac arrest at the age of 41 Some days after he tested positive for covid-19, he was shifted to a private hospital and after some time he died due to a heart attack. Aajtak, the news channel, tweeted that they were all shocked by the death of their colleague and that this loss cannot be expressed in words.

Even Narendra Modi tweeted, “ Rohit Sardana left us too soon. Full of energy, passionate about India’s progress, and a kind-hearted soul, Rohit will be missed by many people. His untimely demise has left a huge void in the media world. Condolences to his family, friends, and admirers. Om Shanti.”

Home Minister Amit Shah and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also consoled the family and friends.

Sourav Ganguly

Sourav Ganguly, BCCI President, and former Indian was Captain also hospitalized after he complained of chest pain and underwent quick primary angioplasty on January 3, 2021, to clear a blocked coronary
artery.

Ganguly suffers from "triple vessel disease," which manifests when the major arteries are blocked by plague. He has a family history of ischemic heart disease.

The reason behind early heart attacks

Being overweight and obese are key players in heart attacks For a variety of reasons, being overweight significantly increases your risk of having a heart attack. To begin with, being overweight puts a lot of strain on your heart. Even if you are in otherwise good health, obesity alone increases your risk of having a heart attack.

However, patients who are obese and overweight frequently have additional medical issues like high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol that are detrimental to their heart health.

Diabetes is a key factor in an early heart attack

Compared to adults without diabetes, those who have diabetes are 2-4 times more likely to die from heart disease. When your blood sugar isn't kept under control enough to stay within a healthy range, a problem arises. Your blood vessels are damaged by high blood sugar, which increases the likelihood that fat will amass in your arteries and lead to atherosclerosis.

Patients with diabetes are also more likely to have high blood pressure and high cholesterol, two chronic health conditions that greatly increase the risk of a heart attack.

Smoking cigarettes are also a major risk factor

Smoking is one of the leading risk factors for heart attacks in young adults among all other risk factors. According to how many cigarettes you smoke, your risk of having a heart attack rises. In comparison to
nonsmokers, smoking one pack per day more than doubles your risk of having a heart attack.

Even though smoking cigarettes have a much higher risk of resulting in a heart attack than vaping, you're still not exempt if you vape. Nicotine and other toxic substances found in e-cigarettes cause your heart rate and blood pressure to rise. According to a recent study, vaping increased heart attack risk by 34% when compared to non-vapers.

Young adults are diagnosed with hypertension

High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, is one of the leading causes of cardiovascular disease. Unfortunately, the incidence of hypertension is increasing more quickly in young adults than it is in older
adults, similar to the trend in heart attacks. High blood pressure damages your blood vessels, thickens the heart muscles, and raises your risk of having a heart attack.

Substance abuse takes a place in the heart

Although researchers are still looking into how marijuana affects the heart, they do know that it increases heart rate and heart attack risk. However, cocaine's effect on your heart is well known. Cocaine causes
your blood vessels to constrict, your heart to beat faster, and your blood pressure to rise—all of which are linked to heart attacks.

Because you can alter your risk factors by changing your lifestyle and taking medications if necessary to protect your health, many heart attacks can be avoided. At the Cardio Metabolic Institute, you can receive all the assistance you need to avoid having a heart attack.

What are the preventive measures to be taken?

The first and foremost thing is to perform a cardiac check-up. In case a person has a strong family history of cardiac ailments, then one should visit a cardiologist or a cardiac electrophysiologist if need be.
