Ajay Devgn's "Shaitaan" Surpasses Rs 100 Cr Globally, Claims Third-Highest Position of 2024

Ajay Devgn's latest Bollywood venture, "Shaitaan," alongside R Madhavan and Jyothika, has stormed the box office, amassing over Rs 100 crore globally within six days of its release. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film has secured the third-highest-grossing position in 2024's Bollywood lineup.
In
just six days since hitting theaters, "Shaitaan,"
starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyothika, has surpassed the Rs 100 crore
mark globally, solidifying its position as the third-highest grossing film of
2024. The movie has collected nearly Rs 75 crore in India alone. According to
Sacnilk.com, the supernatural horror flick earned Rs 6.25 crore nett on Wednesday,
bringing its total Indian collections to Rs 74 crore nett. However, its global
gross collections easily exceeded Rs 100 crore by Day 6, with a staggering Rs
96 crore as net collections.
Following
"Fighter" and "Teri Baaton Mein Uljha Jiya," featuring
Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon, respectively,
"Shaitaan" reigns as the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024.
The
day-wise box office report unveils a steady climb in earnings:

Directed
by Vikas Bahl, "Shaitaan" is the Hindi adaptation of the Gujarati
horror film "Vash," released last year. Notably, Janki Bodiwala
reprises her role as Ajay Devgn's on-screen daughter from the original film. R
Madhavan portrays a negative character, while Ajay and Jyothika depict Janki's
on-screen parents. The film is co-produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande,
Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak.
Reviewing
"Shaitaan," Jawa Dwivedie of India TV remarked that the film, despite
its predictable storyline, is worth a watch, praising the performances of Ajay
Devgn and R. Madhavan.
