In a powerful collaboration, Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi have ignited a sensation through their recent movie, OMG 2. The film delves into the significance of imparting sex education to children. The film's resounding impact has spurred fans into action, propelling campaigns and appeals to the censor board for a UA certification, making it accessible to the nation's youth, who are keen to embrace its message.

Amidst this, Pankaj Tripathi finds himself in mourning as he receives the unfortunate news of his father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari's passing. The actor, currently engaged in a shoot in Uttarakhand, has made an urgent departure for his hometown in Bihar to carry out the final rites and pay his respects to his late father.

Akshay Kumar, who had personally endorsed Pankaj Tripathi for the role of Kanti Sharan Mudgal, extended his heartfelt condolences to the actor. (I'm deeply saddened by the news of my friend Pankaj Tripathi’s father’s demise. No one can replace the loss of parents. May God grant his father's soul a place by His side. Om Shanti.)

Akshay Kumar put names forward of Pankaj Tripathi to Amit Rai for OMG2

During a prior interview, Pankaj Tripathi disclosed that it was at Akshay Kumar's suggestion that his name was put forward to director Amit Rai for OMG 2. He shared that Amit Rai was relatively unfamiliar with his work at that time. Adding an intriguing layer, Pankaj mentioned that during the story narration, Akshay Kumar joined via video call. Interestingly, as the narrative progressed, Akshay took over from the director, continuing to delve into the film's storyline over the subsequent days. Pankaj also emphasized the director's ownership of the film, but he notably acknowledged Akshay Kumar's vital role. Without him, the essence of OMG 2 might not have fully materialized.
