In an exclusive interview with India Today, Akshay Kumar shared his perspective on the editing suggestions put forth by the Censor Board. He expressed his disinterest in engaging in a fight over the matter, emphasizing his lack of familiarity with the rules governing such decisions. Akshay stated, "I don't want to fight. I have no idea about the rules." He elaborated that he didn't delve into the rulebook and questioned whether viewers perceived the film as adult-themed. Akshay's primary aim was to create a film for the younger audience, and he is delighted that it will soon be available on Netflix. He emphasized the importance of people being aware of the film's message.

Reflecting
on his previous projects, such as "Padman," where he tackled taboo
topics like menstrual hygiene, the 56-year-old actor recounted an incident. At
an event where he was the chief guest, someone privately told him not to hand
them a sanitary pad because "Acchha nahi lagta" (it doesn't feel
right). This comment exemplified the societal reluctance to discuss such topics
openly.
Meanwhile, "OMG 2" had a successful run in theaters, even competing alongside Sunny Deol's "Gadar 2." The film also featured Yami Gautam in a pivotal role. Akshay Kumar's most recent release, titled "Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue," hit cinemas on October 5, adding to his versatile filmography.
