India's Rohan Bopanna sets a new record as the oldest player to win an ATP Finals match in doubles. Meanwhile, Djokovic faces a setback, losing a match to Jannik Sinner. Carlos Alcaraz marks his first win, eyeing a title at the ATP Finals 2023.
At
the ATP Finals 2023 in Turin, Rohan Bopanna, the veteran Indian tennis player,
etched his name in history books once more. Partnering with Matthew Ebden,
Bopanna secured a monumental win in the men's doubles, becoming the oldest player
to triumph in an ATP Finals match. This victory was a testament to his enduring
prowess on the court.
At 43, Bopanna shattered the previous record held by Daniel Nestor, showcasing no signs of slowing down. Notably, he recently clinched the Gold in mixed doubles at the Asian Games 2023, displaying remarkable consistency in his game. His feat at the Indian Wells 2023 doubles event also added to his repertoire of accomplishments, making him the oldest player to claim the ATP 100 masters title.

group stage.
In
