The city anticipates a divine look for the grand occasion of the Ram Temple's opening on January 22.
The
city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh is bustling with preparations as it readies
itself for the much-awaited visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December
30. With the inauguration of the newly constructed Ayodhya International
Airport and the revamped railway station on the agenda, the city is undergoing
extensive beautification efforts to create a celestial ambiance ahead of the
grand opening of the Ram Temple on January 22.
To
infuse a spiritual aura, streets in this temple town are being embellished with
stunning floral arrangements. Orange and yellow marigolds are delicately
wrapped around ornate lamp posts along the newly named Ram Path, each post
adorned with intricate designs inspired by religious symbols associated with
Lord Ram and Hanuman. These decorations, fashioned after Lord Ram's imagery,
his iconic bow and arrow, and religious motifs like the tilak, aim to impart a
divine essence to the cityscape.
The meticulous designs, crafted by artisans like Lalit Kumar Singh, highlight the dedication behind this endeavor. Singh, among several workers, has meticulously fashioned floral depictions of Lord Ram wielding his bow and arrow, using approximately 7-8 kg of flowers and nearly 45 minutes per design. These intricate artworks will embellish key areas such as Ram Path, Dharm Path, the airport, and the railway station.
