In the aftermath of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony for the Ram Lalla idol at Ayodhya's Ram Mandir, the sacred grounds experienced an overwhelming surge of devotees on Tuesday. This sudden influx prompted Ayodhya authorities to take swift action by implementing a temporary suspension on all incoming vehicles.

Tuesday morning in Ayodhya unfolded with an abrupt increase in pilgrim arrivals, creating a chaotic situation that strained the existing security arrangements. The overcrowding led to minor injuries for some individuals, although there were fortunately no reports of serious harm.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, remotely assessing the unfolding situation via live-streaming from Lucknow, recognized the need for immediate action. In response to the massive crowd, he opted to restrict any further pilgrim arrivals in Ayodhya to maintain order and ensure the safety of the devotees.

Given the seriousness of the situation, officials called a conference to address the issues raised by the rapid influx of devotees. As a result, a temporary restriction on all cars moving towards Ayodhya was announced. This approach tries to restrict the influx while also ensuring the pilgrims' safety and the purity of the temple premises.

As part of the emergency measures, all online bookings for vehicles bound for Ayodhya have been canceled. Authorities ensure the swift processing of refunds for bus fares, providing a measure of relief to the pilgrims who had planned their journey to the holy site.

The decision to put a temporary restriction on Ayodhya-bound cars emphasizes the need to preserve order and safety in the aftermath of the historic Pran Pratishtha event. It demonstrates the authorities' commitment to managing the unexpected influx of devotees responsibly, ensuring that the trip to Ram Mandir remains a safe and spiritually meaningful experience for all.
