In a thrilling announcement, BookMyShow unveiled its latest masterpiece, 'Bandland,' a groundbreaking two-day rock music and cultural extravaganza set to captivate music enthusiasts. The inaugural edition of this festival promises to be a defining moment for Bengaluru, featuring 12 acclaimed international and homegrown indie-rock luminaries.

Among the headlining acts, the iconic British rock legends Deep Purple, renowned for timeless classics like 'Smoke on the Water,' and the American rock icons Goo Goo Dolls, famous for hits like 'Iris,' are all set to grace the stage. Sharing the limelight with them are the American indie rockers The War on Drugs, ideal for fans of Bruce Springsteen and Pink Floyd, as well as Australian punk sensation Amyl and The Sniffers.

Scheduled for December 16 and 17, 2023, the grand spectacle will take place at the Embassy International Riding School Ground in Bengaluru. BookMyShow described this fusion of India's rich cultural heritage with the city's dynamic music scene as a monumental achievement for the online ticketing platform. Bandland is poised to become the nation's leading entertainment platform, celebrating the roots of India's original rock music hub.

The roster for this two-day extravaganza includes renowned Indian bands such as Parikrama, known for their classical rock fusion, and Thermal and a Quarter, reuniting with Deep Purple for the second time since their supporting act in 1994 and 2001. The lineup is complemented by a new generation of bands, including Parvaaz, The F16s, Aswekeepsearching, Skrat, Pacifist, and The Earth Below.

From warm winter afternoons to picturesque sunsets, Bandland promises an array of performances across multiple stages, catering to every music aficionado. Attendees can immerse themselves in captivating art installations inspired by the city, savor a diverse fusion of cuisines, and relish unique mixology under Bengaluru's breezy skies.
